What To Do If A Person Has An Insomnia?
I have been suffering from insomnia for weeks now and its effects on my health is getting quite alarming. Ok, I'm just exaggerating but the peril of NOT being able to sleep on time is taking its toll on me and I detest it! Imagine, it's already 5 in the morning and the rooster is already up and waking everybody while I am still struggling to get some sleep! THIS IS TORTURE! So what do I do to kill time, or I should say, ease this predicament?
1. Read old magazines. Whenever I scan the pages of fashion magazines, I get transported to a world of luxury and extravagance. Knowing that I'll have an infinitesimal chance of possessing a Chanel bag or a Christian Louboutin pumps, seeing designer creations in Marie Claire is enough!
2. Keep a journal. I have never been keen on writing letters, so keeping a journal actually surprised me! The journal that I have is supposed to be a notebook for me and my best friend to write stuff to one another. But she has a job now, while I'm still vexed from all the boredom that this past summer vacation offered.
3. Watch a marathon of Make Me A Supermodel. I thought that this will be a cheap imitation of Tyra Banks' ANTM but I was wrong and I'm glad that I was because it's indeed a great show! I'm a fan of BRONNIE but I'm happy for HOLLY. She deserves to win.
4. Escapism. I have a vivid imagination that helps me overcome any worries, boredom, or comprising situations that I participated in. Creating a fantasy world where I can be a female samurai one minute then having a tryst with the most beautiful man in the world is the closest thing to nirvana!
