QotD: Flattery Will Get You Everywhere

What's the best compliment you've received lately?

I'm currently having my practice teaching at Makati High School, a public school here in Manila. Being a student-teacher is no easy task not only because of the pressure to teach effectively but also to have the capability to discipline your students.  Students can intimidate a student-teacher since they are young and inexperienced. 

When I was teaching an afternoon class, my critic teacher (CT) heard a student remarking on how strong or courageous I looked.  My CT told me that she heard the student saying (about me), ang tapang-tapang naman nito!  Which is great since it's better that I'm the one who is intimidating them than the other way around! I have also heard my CT saying to her colleagues countless of times on how she was surprised to hear my voice, so loud and strong! Ofcourse I was very happy to hear her say that!
