A Challenge

When my mom received our electric bill for the month of April, she wasn't pleased.  Our bill increased a lot - as in the amount that she usually pays doubled! So to minimize the expenses for the next month she decided to do something drastic - decrease the time I spend surfing the internet into 1 hour - every weekend! GAH!!!! It was a challenge - a very difficult one since I was used to doing this for almost everyday! But I have no choice but to follow her orders since she's my mom and she pays the bill. This is definitely a HUGE sacrifice on my part but this is just a phase for sure.  It's summer here in the Philippines and since there's no school (and no allowance) for most people, they devote their time entirely at home, thus increasing the amount of electricity their household consumes. June is just weeks away so our electric bill will go back to normal again (I really, truly hope!!!)
